baking blog

i thought i'd start a blog for the things i make. i'm not a good cook but i love to bake. i'm not that good of a baker yet. i love to bake, almost as much as i love to eat baked goods. i love to make things that look cute or pretty or different. i'll post the pictures/recipes when i make new things here. in the meantime, here is a few things i have made in the past.

    I used to love baking, too, when I had time. Wish we lived closer so we could taste yours!

    mama of 2 hapas: i think it was you who inspired me to bake, i mean really bake. in high school and college i would bake an occasional cake from a box and the other thing i baked was a cookie recipe from mohri. when ryan had his first birthday, someone said you baked the cake from scratch. i didn't know what that meant at that time, i thought it just meant you didn't buy it from the store. ha ha ha! i just thought everyone made cakes from the boxes. anyway, i thought that little sail boat cake was the cutest thing!

    Yeah, well, once upon a time...you noticed I just bought Ella's cake for her 1st birthday! No time anymore! I still love doing it though when the time presents itself. And, of course, if it weren't for my sugar cookies, Mohri and I would never have gotten together!

    yes, i like that site. i first looked at it when you posted the chocolate sheet cake on your blog. i love how she write it all step by step with great photos.
